Subject: IBET Illinois Beach SP--South Unit, Lake, Illinois, US - Black-Bellied Plover
I got out of work early today so headed up to Illinois Beach south unit to
do the nature trail area hikes. Perhaps shorebird migration has begun with
a BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER on the beach where the dead river meets Lake
Michigan. Other highlight for me was a BLUE JAY nest with mother actively
feeding hungry mouths.

Good birding. Photos of plover/jays embedded.
