Subject: [JERSEYBI] Acadian Flycatcher and Woodcock Great Swamp
Hi Jersey Birders

This morning about 6:30 on the way to the Far Blind on the Long Valley
Rd entrance to Great Swamp. I encountered an Acadian Flycatcher making
its inimitable squeak. Very cooperative. I had already seen several
Acadians at Belleplain in May.  I have been making this trek to the Far
Blind  six times a year or more for more than 3 decades. It was only my
second sighting of an Acadian Flycatcher at this location.Sitting on the
road into Great Swamp headquarters off Pleasant Plains Rd. at 7:30 pm
was a very cooperative Woodcock.
