Craig, Thanks for posting this. Comments are due by June 25! Despite CT DEEP and their conservation partners continuing success in adding more fish passages and removing dams every year to add more spawning habitat, herring runs are still in serious trouble. Osprey, gannets, mergansers, herons, etc.. all rely on this important food source. Our birds really need our help on this, please submit public comments if you are able.
