Subject: Denmar BBS route results
Hi all, I ran the Denmar route on June 5th. This is my first year running
the route, and it ties with Glady as my favorite. It also conveniently
starts in front of my parents' house!

The route begins in Beard, WV, Pocahontas County and runs north to
Hillsboro, and then to Seebert and continues through Watoga State Park and
from there north to Huntersville, Pocahontas County. Habitat starts as
mixed deciduous woods and pastures to grasslands on the little levels to
cool mixed-deciduous/hemlock forests in the park to dry deciduous/pines
near Huntersville. The yellow-rumped warbler range expansion was on
display, birds seen and heard at 3 stops.

I detected the following 69 species:
