Hello, This the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird report. This report
was made Thursday June 7. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at
503-233-2976.

On June 1 a male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at a Burns feeder. At Malheur
NWR Headquarters during the week were MAGNOLIA WARBLER,GRAY CATBIRD,
CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, REDSTART, and CANADA WARBLER. A REDSTART was seen
June 4 at Cottonwood Creek south of Fields.

On June 4 a BLACK SWIFT was over West Lake north of Gearhart. On June 1 a
WHIMBREL was over the dike at Rentenaar Road on Sauvie Island. On June 5, 26
WHITE PELICANS were there. A late ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was along Marine Drive
at the Portland Airport June 1. That day HUTTONıS, WARBLING, and RED EYED
VIREOS were at the Sandy River Delta. An albino ANNAıS HUMMINGBIRD was at an
Oregon City feeder during the week.

On May 29 a NIGHTHAWK was at Jackson Bottom. During the week a WHIMBREL, a
BONAPARTEıS GULL, nine WILSONıS PHALAROPES, 12 BLACK-NECKED STILTS, a
LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER and a GRASSHOPPER SPARROW were at Baskett Slough NWR.
A TRICOLORED BLACKBIRD was photographed June 4 at Ankeny NWR. A COMMON LOON
was photographed June 4 at Detroit Lake. A BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER is now
being seen on the east side of Buford Park in Eugene. On June 2 a RED-EYED
VIREO was at Clearwater Park in Springfield.
