Subject: [cobirds] Night Birds in Roosevelt NF
The snipes are courting in the Coughlin Meadows area in Roosevelt National
Forest, 8.5 miles up Sugarloaf Road from Boulder Canyon, 2500 m altitude
(i.e montane).
They are still most active after dark but I expect to be able to watch them
soon.

Saw-whet owls are calling between midnight and dawn in the same area.
