Subject: [ia-bird] Cape May and Wilson's Warblers at Central College
Amazing (and unexpected) day for birding on campus at Central College in
Pella. Racked up a few life-listers in a matter of minutes. Notables: *Cape
May Warbler, Wilson's Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler
and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. *Other species were:Tennessee Warbler,
Nashville Warbler, Great-crested Flycatcher, Ruby-crowned Kinglets (in
large numbers), Common Yellowthroat, Yellow Warbler, Indigo Bunting and
Least Flycatcher.

The Cape May, Blackpoll, Chestnut-sided, Tennessee and Nashville Warblers,
along with the Ruby-crowned Kinglets were raiding a spruce tree, while the
Wilson's Warbler was found in a shrubby section of old railroad.
