Subject: sightings at Piney Tract (Clarion County )
    Last Saturday (5/5) afternoon at Piney Tract
was fairly productive.  Seen were (numbers are rough
estimates or ignored if common species)
    Red Tailed Hawk, 1
    Northern Harrier- 1   (Finally!)
    Turkey Vultures - a few
    Turkey (only on evidence of fresh tracks)
     Mourning Dove
     Blue Jay
     American Crow
     Common Raven 1
     Tree Swallow   10
     Barn Swallow - a few
     Black-capped  Chickadees  - a few
     White Breasted Nuthatches  a few
     Tufted Titmouse
     Carolina Wren
     House Wen  2
     American  Robin
     Eastern Bluebird  10
     Wood Thrush - heard only
     Grey Catbird 1
     Brown Thrasher - 2
     Palm Warbler - 5
     Yellow Warbler - 2
     Common Yellowthroat - 2
     Nashville Warbler - 2
     Prairie Warbler - 1
     Northern Cardinal
     Rose-Breasted Grosbeak - 2
     DICKCISSEL - 1 persistent singing
     Eastern Towhee - 5
     Chipping Sparrow -8    The Clay-Coloreds
continue to elude me.
     Field Sparrow - 10
     Song Sparrow - 10
     Grasshopper Sparrow - 1
     Henslow's Sparrow 5
     Baltimore Oriole - 2
     Eastern Meadowlark - 1  Pathetically low
numbers.
    Red-Winged Blackbird
    Common Grackle
