Weather: Cloudy with a few peeks of sun at times; much cooler:
66-71 degrees; excellent visibility; winds light, northerly at
first then easterly, 0-9 mph

Raptor Observations: Not many migrants of any type flying today

Non-raptor Observations: Purple Gallinule still present;
Red-throated Loon; nine warbler species. A pair of Great Blue
Herons put on a spectacular mating display, waltzing with bills
pointed straight up in the air and the male strutting, holding his
wings out, rustling his feathers and showing off his finery.

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
