Subject: [ia-bird] Jensen Marsh - Madison County
With the recent rains went to Jensen today to check water control structure and water levels. Shorebird habitat and viewing is excellent right now!

Notables included:
Black-crowned Night Heron
Savannah Sparrow
Long-billed Dowitcher
Spotted Sandpiper
Yellow Warbler
Sora (3)
Virginia Rail
Gray Catbird
Brown Thrasher
Tree Swallow
Barn Swallow

Still plenty of waterfowl present along with a strutting Wild Turkey and a vocal Ring-necked Pheasant trying to dry himself off.
