Subject: [birders] Yellow Rail in Ingham Continues
The boardwalk south of the parking lot at Lake Lansing Park North still holds a clicking Yellow Rail. Several birders were present to hear the call around 7:45 and 8:15 pm.

Migration clearly picked up.
New arrivals also heard or seen in the park included Chimney Swifts, Great Crested Flycatcher, Purple Martins and Palm Warblers.

I made a brief stop before work at Bauveric Woods Park in Southfield and had a calling and patient Broad Winged Hawk perched. Yellow Rumped Warblers were abundant
