Official Counter: Jerry McWilliams

Observers: Ken Felix, Russ States

Visitors:
A nice showing of observers, since a good flight was predicted. Through
the course of the day one by one they left as the birds became fewer and
farther away. Russ States and Ken Felix were the primary observers. Sam
Stull, Linda McWilliams, Joao Taveres, Ron Leberman, and Isaac Fields
helped search the sky for birds.

Weather:
A few clouds early becoming clear with SW wind early becoming variable from
the W & SW. Nice and warm with temps. in the low 70s F.

Raptor Observations:
A big push of birds was not to be. Singles and small groups from three to
five birds widely spaced apart in time and distance across the sky. The
few birds became really spread out later and drifting further to the south
as well as gaining altitude to become hardly visible with binos.

Non-raptor Observations:
Wood Duck-2, Common Loon-1, Double-crested Cormorant-4, Great Blue Heron-2,
Chimney Swift-8,Cedar Waxwing-6, American Robin-2, Northern Flicker-3, Bank
Swallow-1, Blue Jay-29, American Goldfinch-2

Predictions:
Like today, but maybe a few more clouds. Perhaps more of a SW direction
than today. After today, my expectations are not high. Thunderstorms were
predicted later, but they may be pushed back to Thursday.
