Subject: [wisb] Black-necked Stilt Dane Co - still there Saturday
THe Black-necked Stilt was hanging out on the far edge of the pond on
Patton Road, southeast of the CTH V ponds. Sharing the pond with Greater &
Lesser Yellowlegs and Bonaparte Gulls.
CTH V ponds had some Wilson's Snipe feeding in the open, a great look at an
American Bittern right up by the road, and various ducks including my FOY
Ruddies. A few Buffleheads still hanging around. Plenty of other good
stuff, too.

Traipsed through Brooklyn SWA and almost no insects. With heavy migration
forecasted for Sunday night, what are they going to eat?
