Subject: [Maine-birds] Grosbeak and Thrasher
The slow trickle of migrants has been a little exasperating but a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak under the feeder with cardinals this evening was a good sign. Brown Thrashers made themselves known in Berwick on Sunday and in Wells on Tuesday. Yellow-rumped Warbler at Wells Harbor Park isn’t exactly a sign of spring (they spent most or all of the winter), but today one was singing so that’s something. My 2018 swallow count is still zero.
