Weather: Sunny or mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy in the last
couple of hours; third day of warm weather, 66-84 degrees; fair to
good visibility with some haze; winds southwesterly and on the strong
side, 9-15 mph, gusting to 28 mph

Raptor Observations: Good variety again today. A Merlin perched in a
tree for about a half hour. An Osprey chasing a Bald Eagle. Five Bald
Eagles cavorting about in the sky.

Non-raptor Observations:
A Pileated Woodpecker flying in from the river. New for the season:
Prairie Warbler, Eastern Kingbird

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
