Weather: Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy; 44-75 degrees; fair to excellent visibility. Winds were light at first, allowing the low cloud cover to persist. They finally picked up and the skies cleared some. Winds were southwesterly 3-14 mph gusting to 30 mph.
Raptor Observations: A good all around flight today with 12 raptor species; flight was best after the winds picked up and the clouds broke up. Twelve of the 13 kestrels were in the last 2.5 hours of the count and sharpie numbers are starting to increase. Flight tended to be high.
Non-raptor Observations: One mockingbird pinning another to the ground.
