Weather:
Unsettled weather with the passage of a cold front mid-morning;
cloudy, becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon; temperatures
reached 67 degrees before the front passed, then cooled to 58
degrees; visibility fair at first, then excellent; winds started
out from the SW 4-9 mph, then became strong from the WNW, 24-28
mph, gusting to 45 mph

Raptor Observations:
A strong flight of Turkey Vultures before and after the squall of
the passing cold front; American Kestrels also flying today

Non-raptor Observations: A few hundred Tree Swallows

Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
