Official Counter: Jerry McWilliams

Observers: Jerry McWilliams

Visitors:
Thanks to Bernie O'Connor who kept count of the vultures while I scanned
the sky for hawks. Joao Taveres and Bonnie Ginader stopped for a short
while.

Weather:
Variably cloudy early becoming mostly clear with light NNW wind and
continued cold.

Raptor Observations:
There was a unexpected number of vultures moving today despite the cold
winds off the lake. The flight began light along the lake then moved
inland about a mile from the Lake Erie shore, where most of the birds
passed through most of the day relatively low. Very few hawks noted among
the kettles of vultures.

Non-raptor Observations:
Double-crested Cormorant-70

Predictions:
Warmer with SE wind, but storms may keep the birds grounded.
