A Bald Eagle soared low over our heads 2 days ago at Fort Cassin and then landed in a tree on the levee between Otter Creek and Kellog Bay, a tree in which another adult eagle perched. Their chatter could best be described as gentle springtime chatter, almost chirping. After another soaring circle above us and around the tree, the same (?) eagle landed once again in the tree. The chatter was musical and intriguing. Romantic? Do we have another nesting in the offing?
