I birded Needham twice in the past week. I am really getting to know this town. And to think that just one week ago the only place I had ever birded in this town was Cutler Park/Cutler Lake. I hit the Rosemary Lake Trails, Needham Transfer Station, High Rock Woods, the rail trail, and finally T.T.O.R.'s Charles River Peninsula:

Fox Sparrow 1 F.O.Y.
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK 2 adult pair; quite vocal
Cedar Waxwing 22 right above the trail in tree
COMMON RAVEN 1 Brown-headed Cowbird 3
