Columbia Estuary Report - 2/9/2018

The STELLER'S EIDER continues to be reported daily by multiple observers
at Seaside Cove. An ANCIENT MURRELET and two MARBLED MURRELETS were
reported earlier in the week as well. An as yet unverified RUDDY
TURNSTONE was reported today.

The NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH continues to be heard and seen in the kack near
the Brownsmead Grange. About 70 TREE SWALLOWS along with 20 or so BARN
SWALLOWS were along Jackson Rd.

WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS are still being seen on both sides of the Columbia.

A RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was reported coming to a feeder on the Longbeach
Peninsula this week, so clean out those feeders and fill 'em up.
