Subject: [JERSEYBI] Gyrfalcon Merrill Creek Reservoir
A Gyrfalcon photographed 2 days ago was refound this morning at Merrill Creek. It could be seen from the parking lot at the tower (also the location of the hawkwatch), perched in the dead trees along the opposite shore of the cove to the left of the parking area. This is a dark adult bird. Also seen at the reservoir this morning were a Glaucous Gull and multiple Great White-fronted Geese together with the 1000's of Snow Geese and numerous other species of waterfowl.
