Subject: [MDBirding] Blockhouse Point Conservation Park, Mont. Co. - Jan. 26

I saw a first winter plumaged Red-headed Woodpecker a little before 9:30am
this morning. It was flying and perching in the woods on the NW side of
the main parking lot. A nice bird for the park, although there is a
population of them a little ways upriver.

A decent selection of other winter birds of edge and forest were present.

Happy birding to you all.
