A male northern pintail was also present with the mallards this morning (1/13) at 9:00. Was feeding on the lawn near the overturned boat (basically behind the fire department) before the group then flew down to the water.

Best views were had by walking down Ripley Creek Road a short way and I’d recommend parking at the creek crossing along Rt 131 to not cause congestion on that narrow road.
