The Brown Thrasher is still visiting our feeder area as of 1/10/18.  The feeders are located about a mile southeast of Ames, northeast of the intersection of Sand Hill Trail and 250th Street.  Other interesting birds seen within half a mile of the feeders during the past five days have included a Northern Harrier, a Bald Eagle, and a Fox Sparrow.
