Subject: [ia-bird] Swan
In the same area that some have seen the Snowy Owl, 260th and James in
North Liberty. The swan was grazing in a snowy cornfield off of 260th.
Horned Larks were on the road, too. I believe this may have been a Tundra,
but have read that Trumpeters appear in winter, too. It was quite large
with a graceful long neck, It had grayish brown feathers mixed with white.
I saw this around 130pm today.
