The north road is now open. Lots of beach walkers out this afternoon.
The ice has finally melted.

C-birders,
Matt Janson and I are currently looking at a beautiful male Harlequin at the Jetty. The road is closed so you will have to park at the parking lot for the Causeway and walk to the north beach from there. Long Walk but beautiful bird. Good numbers of White-winged Scoter and small flock of Surf Scoters. Hunters are currently working the inlet, so this bird might not be here much longer.
