The Emperor was present across from Riverbend Park at 7:45 a.m. I don’t know of any other sightings in the Old Mill today. They were not seen by me at noon, just a single Cackler.

Three of us were at the old mill at sunrise and did not see the fancy geese, other than 3 Cackling Geese. We searched from Bill Healy bridge to Colorado bridge and there was no sign of the Emperor nor the White-fronts. We then drove to Tekampe and Sholes and struck out again, since the birds had clearly moved back to the old mill by then (as per Tom Crabtree's report).
If you live between the old mill and Sholes road, keep your eye on the flyovers. You just might get Emperor Goose on your yard list!

The Emperor and GWFG were at the Old Mill first thing this morning. When I
was down there with Matt Cahill and Peyton Cook around noon they were gone
but there was a single CACKLING GOOSE in with the Canada's along the walking
trail across from the dog park. Interesting that the geese are moving
freely between those two areas. We could get it reported on multiple
sectors on Saturday.
