Subject: [pen-bird] eBird system outage
As folks probably know by now, eBird is temporarily down.
Below is the message posted on their website

System Outage 13 November 2017: eBird is experiencing a server outage and we are working hard to bring eBird back online. Please do not worry--your personal eBird data is safe.
During this outage you will not be able to access ebird.org or submit checklists via eBird Mobile. If you are using eBird Mobile, you can still record your checklists and location using the "Offline Checklist" option, explained here: http://help.ebird.org/customer/en/portal/articles/1880550-using-ebird-mobile-offline http://help.ebird.org/customer/en/portal/articles/1880550-using-ebird-mobile-offline. These checklists can be submitted once eBird is back online.
If you do not use eBird Mobile to submit your checklists, we recommend recording your checklist in a notebook (with start time, duration, distance, location, and date) so that you can submit it once eBird is back up and running.

Em manutenção Estamos com uma inesperada e temporária falha nos recursos do eBird. Todos os seus registos se encontram seguros, mas é necesário desativar a aplicação de modo a resolver este problema. Esperamos ter o eBird a funcionar de modo normal o mais brevemente possível. Até este problema ter sido resolvido, teremos aqui atualizações sobre o mesmo. Muito obrigado pela sua compreensão.
