Visitors: Twenty-seven, including folks from Mississippi and Chicago, and twelve students and adults from Merrimack Valley High School.
Weather: Mostly cloudy to overcast with light to moderate WSW winds. Off and on drizzle/showers from 12:15 to 3:30. Temps were unseasonably warm... in the 60s.
Raptor Observations: Very few raptor migrants, but local TVs and Red-tails put in a showing.
Non-raptor Observations: Canada Goose - 10; Mallard - 4; Black Duck - 2; BLACK SCOTER - 14; Downy Woodpecker; Northern Flicker; Jays, Am. Crows, and 2 Ravens; Tufted Titmouse; Am. Robin - 83; Starling - 10; Cedar Waxwing - 7; Yellow-rumped Warbler - 2; a few Chipping, Song, and White Throated Sparrows; Goldfinch - several; Purple Finch - 4
Predictions: Lighter air, cooler, open skies. Conditions look great for birds to move!
