Subject: [MDBirding] Unusual Cowbird Flock; Wood Ducks Bethesda MD
At approximately 10:00 AM I saw a flock of 350+ cowbirds foraging at the intersection of Fernwood Road and Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda MD. This is the highest count by far I have seen in Bethesda. a few starlings mixed in. nothing shiny was obvious....
Later in the day, watched four brilliant ad male wood ducks and four females in the drainage pond behind the Marriott.
good birding!
