10/25 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center, 9:45am-1PM, overcast,
low tide rising, 60-65F.
Still several monarchs flying around.
On marsh near parking lot observation deck-18 AMERICAN BLACK DUCKS.
On paved pathway -76 (approximate) STARLINGS in trees got flushed, 5
CARDINALS, 3 MOCKINGBIRDS, 8 HOUSE FINCHES, 2 HOUSE SPARROWS, 1 COMMON
GRACKLE, 3 BLUE JAYS, 1 RED BELLIED WOODPECKER.
On marsh- 1 BELTED KINGFISHER-diving 3 times and flying over marsh, 2
GREATER YELLOWLEGS, 6 BLACK BELLIED PLOVERS, 10 "PEEPS", 5 MALLARDS, 2
SNOWY EGRETS, 5 d.c. CORMORANTS flyover, 8 BRANT.
On Long island sound side -7 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, 52 BRANT 1 GREAT EGRET, 1
JUVENILE YELLOW CROWNED NIGHT HERON, flock of about 20 HOUSE FINCHES flew
over.
