Weather: Light winds were mainly from the west southwest and southwest, switching to more southeasterly in the evening. Skies were overcast to mostly cloudy, with a few brief sprinkles in the morning. Temperatures were in the high seventies to low eighties.
Raptor Observations: The morning was very slow, but activity picked up in the afternoon. We had another good peregrine flight, with relatively low numbers of other species.
Non-raptor Observations: A beautiful Lark Sparrow was seen at 9:17 am EST, and the bird hung around the area for several hours. Small numbers of Yellow-rumped Warblers and Palm Warblers were moving this morning. There was a huge southbound movement of dragonflies late in the evening.
