Observation start time: 15:00:00 Observation end time: 16:00:00 Total observation time: 1 hours
Official Counter: Katrina Fenton
Weather: The rain ended by midday, but stubborn clouds and a gusty, 30+mph SW wind delayed the count until the final hour. By 4:30 (EDT), low clouds had once again obscured the summit.
Raptor Observations: A Peregrine Falcon slipped through a window of blue, cutting through the south wind as though it was not more than a whisper.
Non-raptor Observations: The usual mountain residents were out foraging in the spruces and blueberries. Common Ravens wove in and out of tendrils of fog, the music of air through wings marking their positions when they ghosted out of view. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Katrina Fenton (<gosknits...>) Pack Monadnock Raptor Migration Observatory information may be found at: www.nhaudubon.org
