Subject: RE: Bell's Vireo at NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher - NO this morning but Gray Kingbird YES
Hello all,

I was not able to find the Bell’s this morning, plenty of obvious White-eyes but no Bell’s.

However, I did have a brief sighting of what I am fairly certain was a Gray Kingbird. I know Jelmer saw a late Eastern Kingbird in the same area but this one looked good for a Gray to me.

Might try again this evening.

Subject: Bell's Vireo at NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher

Hi all,

I have a Bell's Vireo by the parking lot of the NC aquarium near Fort Fisher (New Hanover Co). I have not been able to get pictures, as the bird is rather quick and restless. I did get some recordings of its alarm call (after playing mobbing tape). I also saw the bird here yesterday around the same time, but then I did not see it well enough to be certain of the ID.

Will post full details in Ebird checklist tonight.
