Weather: Winds were light to moderate and often from the east northeast. Skies were mostly sunny to partly sunny. Temperatures were in the fifties to high sixties.
Raptor Observations: It was still relatively slow, but there was a steady movement of raptors. Most birds were flying high.
Non-raptor Observations: A Wilson's Phalarope was seen flying past the platform among a flock of six Lesser Yellowlegs. The bird was spotted and identified by Harry Armistead and Hal Wierenga. This morning, many birds-- including House Wrens, Brown Thrashers, and Indigo Buntings-- were bathing among the dewy leaves of nearby bushes.
