Subject: [SFBirds] Tricolored Blackbird flock in the Sunset 9/30/17
This morning there was a sizable flock of (~60) male TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS foraging along 41st Avenue between Ortega and Quintara. This one of the largest concentrations of this state listed species I've noted in San Francisco in recent years.

The newly resodded nearby West Sunset Ballfields have been drawing Killdeer flocks in recent days and may be worth checking for unusual plovers and other grassland habitat migrants in upcoming weeks.
