Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Ken Klapper

Observers: Dick DeSeve, Harold Janeway, Kathleen Brockett,
Sylvia Miskoe

Visitors:
Eighty three, including lovely couples from the Volunteer State, India, and
many fine locals.

Weather:
Another hot one (again topping out near 90F), but with some cumulus clouds
and increasing winds out of the south.

Raptor Observations:
23 (skidoo!) migrant raptors counted, of which there were two Bald Eagles
(plus four locals/non-migrants), four Osprey, and four Peregrines. What we
lacked in numbers we made up for in excitement.

Non-raptor Observations:
Continuing White-crowned Sparrow and Wilson's, Pine, & BT Blue Warblers, a
Scarlet Tanager, two pairs of migrant DC Cormorants, eight Bluebirds,
calling Kingfisher and Barred Owl at the end of the day. Blue-headed
Vireo, Catbird, Indigo Buntings, Flicker, Hairy WP and a nice flock
(including a splinter group) of 70 Cedar Waxwings.

Predictions:
Big change in the weather - high near 70F and 10-20 mph NW winds. This
classic Hawkwind should bring the migrants!
