Subject: [MASSBIRD] Plum Island & Joppa Park Boat Ramp - 09-27-17

David Moon and I led today's fair-weather Wednesday Morning Birding
program out of Joppa Flats Education Center on to Plum Island and closed
the morning with a short visit to the boat ramp at Joppa Park on a
rather high low tide with very small mud flat at base of ramp and up
river near yacht club.  It was a beautiful, but rather warm day with
partly cloudy skies, temps ranging from low 70s to mid 80s along with
high dew points, and winds S-SW/~5 mph.  The fair weather and the
prospect of more migrants making their way south meant a rather large
crowd on hand.
