Official Counter: Brian Rusnica

Observers: Craig Jackson

Visitors:
Linda Hunnewell, Joe Turcotte

Weather:
Warm, with a lovely NE breeze throughout the day. Some light cirrus clouds
developed intermittently, but mostly an icy blue day. Temps 62-80°F.

Raptor Observations:
Despite ideal winds, a large Broad-winged Hawk flight was simply not in the
pipeline today. A nice handful of Sharp-shinned Hawks (18) kept us mildly
entertained for most of the watch. Many URs (unidentified raptors) today,
seen as specks trekking down the ridges.

Non-migrant Raptors:
20 Turkey Vulture / 5 Red-tailed Hawk / 2 Bald Eagle

Non-raptor Observations:
9 Common Raven / 3 Dark-eyed Junco

Predictions:
Unseasonably hot with light and variable winds. Please drop a line if you
do any watching tomorrow on Watatic.
