What a day!
1,152 migrating raptors were counted:
Turkey Vulture - 10
Black Vulture - 1
Osprey - 143
Northern Harriers - 24 (2 Gray Ghosts)
Bald Eagles - 19
Broad-winged Hawks - 51
Red-shouldered Hawks - 2
Red-tailed Hawk - 1
Sharp-shinned Hawks - 378
Cooper's Hawks - 112
American Kestrels - 356
Merlins - 18
Peregrine Falcons - 11
Unidentified Accipiters - 7
Unidentified Buteos - 1
Unidentified Falcons - 5
Unidentified Raptors - 13

Not much time for counting the small migrants. Many Tree Swallows, some
Cedar Waxwings, some Chimney Swifts, and five Loon sp. were noted.
