Subject: [NHBirds] ID of small black bird with forked tail?
Here in Madison, south of Conway, a warbler or wren sized all black bird with a forked tail, perched too briefly on a twig. Then vanished. Too small and wrong shape to be a Purple Martin. No white flank as on Lark Bunting, Not a Phoebe. Forked tail distinctive. Ideas or hints very welcome.
