I spent several hours today, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in Sea Ranch at the site of the reported FT Flycatcher, with no luck. I also searched up and down the coast near the spot and some likely meadows south of Sea Ranch.

Subject: [NBB] Fork-tailed Flycatcher photos
With Diane's permission, I posted the flycatcher photos in the group's photo section, under the album "Sea Ranch Fork-tailed Flycatcher". This appears to be an adult Fork-tailed Flycatcher! Almost all reports of this species in the state pertain to Pin-tailed Whydahs, which this is not. Hopefully someone can refind it!
