Weather:
Steady N wind through the day, with clear skies become mostly cloudy in the
afternoon and clearing again by evening. Temps 56-67.

Raptor Observations:
Another spectacular "early" season day, with big hour after big hour in the
afternoon. Largest group of the day was a massive kettle of 250
Broad-winged Hawks just after 1pm EDT. The second largest group of 180
Broad-wings came right as we were closing shop just before 5pm EDT. What a
great opening weekend at Watatic!

Non-migrant Raptors:
14 Turkey Vulture / 4 Bald Eagle / 3 Red-tailed Hawk

Non-raptor Observations:
25 Common Raven / 3 Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Predictions:
Forecast predicts warmer temps, dry and light N/NW winds - favorable
conditions once again for Broad-wing traffic.
