Light N and NW winds all day and crisp, partially cloudy yet dry despite
some ominous rain clouds that passed nearby. Temps between 53-65F.

Raptor Observations:
A surprisingly busy kickoff to Mt. Watatic's Fall 2017 Season. Birds were
moving almost instantly, and streams of high Broad-winged Hawks kept the
count growing through the afternoon. Delightful to register our first
3-digit day of the season.

Non-migrant Raptors:
22 Turkey Vulture / 6 Red-tailed Hawk / 2 Red-shouldered Hawk / 5 Bald
Eagle

Non-raptor Observations:
35 Common Raven / 3 Ruby-throated Hummingbird / 3 Common Loon

Predictions:
Mostly sunny, slightly warmer, with light N winds throughout the day -
ideal for another good push of birds.
