The BLACK-HEADED GULL made a brief appearance at the South Shore swimming beach area of Moraine State Park Thursday evening 12/1/16. It flew in to drink and bathe at 4:04pm but flew off 5 minutes later. Earlier in the afternoon a group of 31 TUNDRA SWANs flew over the lake. A few pics of the gull are included in my ebird checklist. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32815782 Shannon Thompson Allegheny Co.
