I was able to make out the Sabine's Gull yesterday with binoculars, but that was only after I found it with my scope. I think the fact that the bird was flying around made it a bit easier to separate it form the Laughing Gulls.

Has the sighting of this gull been only through a scope, or via binoculars? I might want to take my boat out there and park in the hydrilla mats to get a look if it is still around, but I might wind up just looking from the marina off the bike path. If the latter, I wonder if I will need a scope? Thanks.
