Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: David Brown

Observers: Carol Spease, Joe Sebastiani

Visitors:
15 including a family from Scotland

Weather:
The morning started off with fog which burned off mid-morning revealing a
mostly sunny day. Winds were moderate and variable throughout the day.

Raptor Observations:
Only 19 migrants but many birds probably missed due to the height of the
flight. A hunting Merlin cruised over me less than 20 feet up.

Non-raptor Observations:
Two Olive-sided Flycatchers, a flock of shorebirds consisting of 4 Pectoral
Sandpipers and 1 Lesser Yellowlegs.

Predictions:
Similar conditions to today. Mostly sunny with westerly winds. I expect the
birds to be very high again in the afternoon so better off catching them in
the morning.
