I drove the Eastern Arapahoe County roads this afternoon. The Red headed Woodpeckers were still at Kiowa Creek and County line road. One did fly into Elbert County while the rest stayed in Arapahoe County. Nothing much else rare was seen. A few Lark Buntings mostly female looking types, half a dozen Western Kingbirds, two Eastern Kingbirds, one Cassins's Kingbird, the Burrowing Owl along ACR 30, east of ACR 149. A Brown Thrasher was at the Arapahoe County Open Space along County Line Road. Swainson's Hawks are still around.
