Visitors:
Couple of day hikers and one SOBO section hiker called Joe Joe.


Weather:
59-72F, early morning haze caused poor visibility. As day continued cloud
cover increased to partly cloudy skies and visibility improved. Winds were
light and variable from the NW at 3-7 mph.

Raptor Observations:
Bald Eagle (6): 0915a, 1112i, 1202a, 1203a, 1215a, 1216i.
One local adult Bald Eagle flying N at 1105.

Non-raptor Observations:
Hummingbird (15), Monarch (2), Raven (1), American Crow, Scarlet Tanager,
Pileated Woodpecker, Cedar Waxwing, Black-and-white Warbler, American
Redstart, Carolina Wren, Chickadee sp, American Goldfinch.

Predictions:
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 3pm and 5pm. Partly
sunny, with a high near 79. West wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation
is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher
amounts possible in thunderstorms.
